Endpoint logs on and off constantly. Never backs up.



Question: I installed the RBackup Endpoint and can't get the program to complete the Test Connection. It apparently attempts to log on and off the server repeatedly. I am only having this problem on one particular computer.

Answer:

The firewall on the Server may be blocking the Data Port. Follow the rules for opening ports through firewalls on the Server.

In rare cases an endpoint might have a highly restrictive firewall preventing the RBackup endpoint software from communicating outbound on its data ports.
