Message from the Repair Wizard: No response from RBS Server The Repair Wizard attempted to log into your RBS Server from an IP address outside your network and was unable to get a valid response. This means that your RBS Server is unreachable from the Internet. This can be caused by one or more of five things, in order of likelyhood:

1. Your Command Port (displayed by the Repair Wizard) is not properly routed to your RBS Server. Adjust your router settings using instructions at http://remote-backup.com/support/#routers (also verify that the proper range of Data Ports are routed.)

(For help with automatic port forwarding, see http://portforward.com/)

2. Your RBS Server could not be started. See other error messages or file a Support Ticket at http://help.remote-backup.com.

3. Your firewall has blocked access to your RBS Server's command port. Open your Command Port and your range of Data Ports through the firewall.

4. There is another server using your RBS Server's command port, and it answered instead of your RBS Server. Move the servers to different ports.

5. There is no Internet connection to your RBS Server. This is a critical condition ONLY if you want to allow access to your RBS Server from the Internet.
