Error: 3008 The table 'Catalog' is already opened exclusively by another user, or it is already open through the user interface and cannot be manipulated programmatically in LoadQueues.

This is a problem with the MS Access database engine. If the problem continues, consider switching to MS-SQL.

When using the MS Access engine for the RBS Server, after after 50 files had been backed up, the table locked with this error.

There is a registry key that controls the number of connections available for Access. This computer somehow had that number set to 50 - far too low. To fix it, we set the key to zero (no maximum.)

Open Regedit and navigate to:

HMLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Jet\4.0\Engines\Jet 4.0\

Edit the key PagesLockedToTableLock
