Error 10060/10060


Error 10061 is a time-out error. It can be caused by the same things that causes 10060 (below) and in addition, can be caused by a bad or improperly configured router or firewall. 10060 - Connection Timed Out - caused by mismatched port numbers, invalid IP address, or Server not turned on.

Both of these errors are caused by the Endpoint being unable to contact the Server for some reason.

In the Evaluation Version of our software this is often caused by not following the instructions properly when you try to move the evaluation Client software to a different computer than the evaluation Server. While you CAN do this to test our software, you have to do it right, or you can get error 10060 or 10061.
