How to add a language to the Endpoint software You can add a new language to the remote backup Endpoint (Simple interface only) by customizing an .ini file. Here is the procedure. Example: Add Russian language On your RBS Server, create a new folder called Russian (/RBS Server/Client/culture/Russian) and copy the default English us.ini from (/RBS Server/client/culture/English US/). Rename the ini file to Russian.ini Use Notepad to open Russian.ini and covert all text to the Russian language. Note: Do not localize the label names in the .ini file, just change the language text to the right of the EQUALS sign =. Do not change the text to the left of the equals = sign. E.g - Original text - lblAdvanced = Advanced Localized text - lblAdvanced = Optionen Keep the text length as close as possible to the original size to avoid problems with screen space. Save the file back into its folder. Using Notepad, open the file Culture.ini, found in the folder /RBS Server/client/ This contains a list of available languages. Add your new language to the list and save the file. Recreate your Endpoint installers. Your new language will now be available in the language selection drop-down menus.
