Backup failing with this error " TempSpace Limit exceeded "

You will receive this message when you are backing up files more than 20480  M.B. To work around this follow the steps given below

 

  • Please close the client and also End Tasks of rbclient.exe or rbackup.exe from the task manager.
  • Locate the file named BackupSetUp.ini from the the client install folder (Default C:\Program Files (x86)\Remote Backup)and open it.
  • Increase the value of "TempSpaceThreshold" from 20480 to 200480 now save the file and close it.
  • Start the client & Run the Backup. If you still have issues get in touch with our Tech Support.
